Heading out

I woke up this morning achy and getting those stinging, nervy jabs in my ears.  I’m trying very hard to chalk it up to my new running shoes and some overzealous Q-tipping. And, I’m sure, anxiety about my first trip overseas.

In any case, I’ll have a long flight to rest, which is good since between the studying and the logistical prep, Macbeth really hath killed sleep. My flight leaves at 4:30 pm today, and after a quick connection in Reykjavik early tomorrow morning, I’ll get into Heathrow at midday. I’m hoping that, since I’m flying so far North, the summer days will be long enough that (assuming I’m near any window seats) I’ll be able to sneak a peak or two out the window on the way.
